My Surfaces series is inspired by the colors, textures, and structures found in weathered outcrops, cabin ruins, old trails, and other western artifacts.
These mixed media fiber constructions combine hand-dyed and painted cotton and silk fabrics, screen-printing, metallic foil and leaf, metallic and rayon threads, heavily machine stitched.
